“ Greek Mythology ”Book --P.R.H

In western ,the way that it is used to judge the level of one’s education is how many you know about “Greek Mythology”. Greek Mythology has been one of the most important parts in the western culture so it is impossible to talk western culture ,leaving Greek Mythology aside .If you want to understand western culture, Greek Mythology is a required course and an introductory lesson .

It has been a labor of love to read Greek Mythology so I feel I benefit a lot from it and here are my views .

First of all , Greek Mythology reflects the ancient Greek worldview. What’s more , they had the faith of God which is an emotional God ,like humans having love and hatred . They were long for the presence of power and believed they would get help from Gods . When they got into trouble ,of which they can’t got rid by themselves . In other words ,it is no doubt that the ancient Greek’s views about the world belong to objective idealism after reading Marxist philosophy ,which has a significant impact on Ancient Greek Philosophy .

Secondly ,it is easy to discover that incest is universal in the life of Gods .For example ,Hera who is both sister and wife for Zeus and Gaea marred Wranus who is Gaea’s son are incest. But after a long time , this phenomenon is replaced by the combination of human with gods or people .This view is great progress for human being .( 文章閱讀網(wǎng)：www.sanwen.net )

Last but not least ,the fate of heroes are arranged by the God so heroes can’t change their destiny . They only have two choices between giving up and revolt ,but heroes are all willing to be killed in the war to carry out their missions. For example , Achilles ,knowing he would die if he took part in Trojan War , play an important role in this war without delay and fear .

It is gods that dominate the world including their destiny that you can’t conquer it . In philosophy ,we can regard destiny as rule . That is amazing and wonderful in my hart.

These are all great minds though it merely bud .
