Their eyes were so demonstrative of extreme fear when they saw the white flash and the fear redoubled when the creature who had fabulously terminated all the invading enemies in merely a few moments came toward them. People stood standstill, altogether motionless as their eyes were rivetted on the white creature, a biped like normal human, completely armored in an all-white carapace as though particularly and miraculous designed for humanity by some other creature of a much higher culture other than any of the earth, who suddenly prostrated itself upon the floor in utterly anguish as it were, gulping for air like a human, in need of exigent help as it seemed. Untowardly, something flashed in from a near distance in direction of the biped thing. Before others managed to shout at him for a warning, that incoming weapon-like thing was parried off by the white biped creature who then turned around and lunged toward something hidden in the darkness with the lance as arm in his hands and instantly, that thing, which turned out to be the remaining, perchance the last one of those invaders was doomed in the same fashion. Thereafter, the biped fell over and lay prostrate on the floor on its face (masked and armored in same fashion) and another miracle transpired that all the parts of its carapace which encompassed the body retired like a retrograde process and gradually, human’s skin was revealed and finally, this human-like creature or a human, we could possibly deem him, was none other than that one the team had discovered outside the base. People in pure stupefaction all doubted strongly---whether this one was an envoy of Apollyon or the Archangel. Suddenly, IKA spoke to her chief in great apprehension as she could not wait to go to aid this man, her eyes betraying unmeasurable care and even potential love as if she was an old acquaintance of this one. ‘Chief, he must be a human like us. Shall we go to aid him?’ However, the chief did not reply to her and even turned his head not to give her a glimpse, all in an unusual manner. ‘Chief, I beg of you. He must be a human and why we not save him? He’s on the brink of death.’ Shouted at IKA as if she was possessed by her strange emotion, so tempestuous. However, no one was responsive and others were casting their eyes at the leader for an order. ‘So far, we cannot ascertain his true identity, an enemy like those alien creatures or a true human on our side.’ Then, he commanded them to stay on guard for fear of any potential attack from this human-like stranger as the whole team could not afford to lose any more of their property.
