This is Reku Mochizuki. I've an important announcement regarding non-commercial rhythm games.

Until now, I've allowed only some songs to be used free of charge in non-commercial rhythm games under certain terms and conditions. (This means that no license fee is required.)

However, several development teams have committed serious rule violations. (e.g. use of songs not authorized, unauthorized use original artwork, and any associated video or audio ripping.)

I'm currently quite mentally exhausted from the stress caused by these troubles.

So, I've decided to indefinitely suspend the providing songs free of charge to non-commercial rhythm games. From now on, If a project is completely non-commercial, it will still incur a license fee, just like a commercial project.

This decision applies only to new rhythm games that are not yet in a cooperative relationship. In other words, for any rhythm games and development teams already officially partnered with me, this decision will have no impact at all.
