Since people can study through the internet, schools have become unnecessary.

To what extent do you agree or disagree

Some people have suggested the internet can replace traditional schools.

In terms of this statement, I tend to have a mixed opinion, meaning both channels can offer equal importance.

1Undeniably ,new technologies can offer people access to a host of information.

2As there are numerous learning materials online ,most of which is free of charge , people can search whatever they want based on their interests.

3For example ,a plethora of websites and learning applications have put everything at our disposal .

4With a simple click ,we are well connected to the information highway.

5Another positive in terms of online learning is during this pandemic ,students can still follow courses when not allowing to attend offline classes.

6In virtual classrooms ,students can have discussions with teachers and classmates , thereby guaranteeing the routine studies.

However , traditional schools and teachers still all have their significance.

For some courses that are interaction oriented, such as language learning ,the simultaneous communication between teachers and learners can boost learning efficiency.

If there were no feedback from teachers , students would easily be discouraged from learning.

Apart from that , younger students find it difficult to stay concentrated after big screens in that they have a shorter concentration span and are easily distracted.

As a result ,they still need to go to offline schools where there are disciplines and supervisors.

And the real engagement and team spirit practice are indispensable for them except for academic learning.

In summary ,while there are some benefits from online learning ,traditional schools will not be supplanted.

And the two modes can supplement each other for better learning and teaching purpose .
