烏鴉想：“這只天鵝那么白，我那么黑，那這只天鵝一定是世上最快樂的鳥。”他把自己的想法告訴了天鵝。

"Actually,"?the?swan?replied,?"I?was?feeling?that?I?was?the?happiest?bird?around?until?I?saw?a?parrot,?which?has?two?colors.?I?now?think?the?parrot?is?the?happiest?bird?in?creation."

The?crow?then?approached?the?parrot.?The?parrot?explained,?"I?lived?a?very?happy?life?until?I?saw?a?peacock.?I?have?only?two?colors,?but?the?peacock?has?multiple?colors."

烏鴉隨后走近鸚鵡。鸚鵡解釋說：“在看到孔雀之前，我都過著非常快樂的生活。然而我只有兩種顏色，但孔雀有很多種顏色。”

The?crow?then?visited?a?peacock?in?the?zoo?and?saw?that?hundreds?of?people?had?gathered?to?see?him.?After?the?people?had?left,?the?crow?approached?the?peacock.

烏鴉隨后去動物園看了孔雀，看到好幾百人聚集在那里看他。人們離開后，烏鴉走近了孔雀。

The?peacock?replied,?"I?always?thought?that?I?was?the?most?beautiful?and?the?happiest?bird?on?the?planet.?But?because?of?my?beauty,?I?am?entrapped?in?this?zoo.?I?have?examined?the?zoo?very?carefully,?and?I?have?realized?that?the?crow?is?the?only?bird?not?kept?in?a?cage.?So?for?the?past?few?days,?I?have?been?thinking?that?if?I?were?a?crow,?I?could?happily?roam?everywhere."

孔雀回答說：“我一直認(rèn)為我是世上最美麗、最快樂的鳥。但是因?yàn)槲业拿利悾冶焕г谶@個動物園里。我仔細(xì)觀察了動物園，發(fā)現(xiàn)烏鴉是唯一沒有關(guān)在籠子里的鳥。因此，過去的幾天，我一直在想，如果我是一只烏鴉，我就可以快樂地到處漫游。”

That's?our?problem?too.?We?make?unnecessary?comparisons?with?others?and?become?sad.?We?don't?value?what?life?has?given?us.
