Hi!

I’m a content creator from China mainland. I make unit voice quotes/voice lines in games. I started it with Red Alert 2 units voice lines, which made me gain original 30k subscribes.

I really really enjoy Supercell games. I played Clash of Clans 5 years ago; I played Clash Royale when the Android version was first released; And also, I played Brawl Stars as the China sever haven’t been launched. That’s where the story began.

Yeah! Today I'm here to complain about the official Bilibili channel of Chinese server for they just really don’t care about the community culture.

Before June 9th (the launching day of China sever), I already made a lot of videos of Brawler voice lines videos. I tried my best to translate the voice lines and find deep comprehensions in them. At that time, Brawl Stars official Bilibili channel only have less than 3000 subscribers. But I still made these kinds of videos because of my enthusiasm. I asked the official channel if they can share my videos, because even they only had 3k subscribers at that time, they are the target subscribers of the Brawler voice lines video which I made indeed. That worked smoothly, they shared my video without hesitation, which laid the foundation for further cooperation. The whole thing happened on Dec. 3rd, 2019.

On Jan. 31st, 2020, the virus 8-bits skin was added in games. I made a voice lines video of this, and wanted to get shared or even just leave a comment by the official. But the result was they just “had a look” at my video, literally. That time I realized although they only had 3k subscribers, they were still the official Bilibili channel of Brawl Stars. But at least I think my video worked, because there were already a lot of my previous subscribers asking me the detail of this game and decide to play it.

Then, we didn’t have any conversations until May 6th, 2020.

Only about one month before the China sever launched, they launched a meme make campaign. And fortunately, I was chosen for a 69 RMB reward. When they asked about my payment ways, I told them a few days later I would upload Brawler Leon’s voice lines video, and at that time, they showed some willing to cooperate with me in near future.

At that time, they had less than 20k subscribers, and I had 50k subscribers. But even in that case, my Brawl Stars video only got a 5k views in average. What make me hang on making relevant video, 50% from my enthusiasm, 50% from their unintentional commitment. They added my WeChat account for a more convenient way to communicate.

Life is dramatical, huh!

When I needed more advanced material or resources of Brawl Stars, such as the Pins’ picture, dynamic characters for a high-quality viewing experience, they said they didn’t have them. And I wanted some spoil news about China sever, they also didn’t know a thing. So how could I tell some further information to my subscribers?

In short, when asked questions about the game and cooperation, they said that they were incompetent and only temporary workers. What? When I “pretended” to sympathize with them, she said you underestimated my ability. Similarly, when asked a slightly sharp question, she pretended to be invisible. To avoid embarrassment. I asked unimportant questions, she response me almost instantly. Huh, if you can't answer, just say it's confidential. What if the information that I can get is the same as that of ordinary people? How to introduce new content to the audience? (The official channel made a female operator connects to my channel)

Time flies, June 6th has come. I have to say they put a lot effort on those YouTubers (or maybe Bilibiliers?) with a lot of subscribers, who just play it for profit. I definitely know that is necessary for bringing most of the new players. But what happened after that? They got the profit they deserve and deleted the game, which led so many players’ leaving. Because a lot of my classmates quitted this games after playing it for few days, they didn't know why some players have Emz with only 1000 trophies, but they have to reach 8000 trophies to get it; they don't know why some live streamers can have tens of thousands of cups in a few days, and then the official also guides the high-trophies to be proud. There are too many related examples, which are what I really want to denounce.

I had thought about setting up a group of creators in Brawl Stars area of Bilibili to maintain the harmony of the community and provide them with the materials I have collected. However, this official channel’s action made me have no motivation and reason to do it, and they do not attach importance to it.

They actually did something, but to no avail. They also launched Brawl Stars videos collecting campaign. Who could believe they chose a skins-showing video recording from a private sever as the second prize? Only because it has a high view. And a coloring campaign, they left some fantastic artwork behind and chose some random coloring artwork to be the winners. They totally have no intention at all. It's just perfunctory. I will send the screenshots of this.

In a nutshell, they totally don’t treat the community a thing. Not like YouTube channel, you always encourage people to put content on YouTube or Reddit. Now I am with about 90k subscribers, we love this game. As the China sever Brawl Stars Bilibili official even didn’t even treat me a thing (In Bilibili Brawl Stars community, I am with the most subscribers), what I can do is write to you.
