Battles in May will take place at?Dark Elixir Cave, a new arena featuring dark elixirs —?the life force of card evolution.

Since Path of Legends now has its own arena, you won’t really see this arena often besides playing the different game modes at the events tab.

Tower Skins

There will be?two tower skins?available for this season. One will be included in the Gold Pass, and the other will be available for purchase at the shop.

Featuring purple crystals on all the towers, the Dark Elixir towers show the origins of Card Evolution.

Rock Guitar (Shop)

Seasonal Path of Legends Rewards Update

The seasonal rewards are changing to help you level up your deck into Elite Level. The one-time rewards aren’t changing, but now you can earn 26,000 additional Elite Wild Cards from the seasonal side of the rewards. These will be distributed as follows:

The old rewards had Elite Value equivalent to 4.4K EWCs, so this boost will give you a total of 30.4K EWCs every season. These new rewards have replaced what used to be Gold rewards, which have been lumped together in other steps, so this is just a reward boost with no drawbacks.

Although Path of Legends was announced as one of the ways to earn Evolution Shards, it seems that will happen in the future, once more card evolutions have been released.

Pass Royale Evolution Shards

July will be the first season in which the Diamond tier Pass Royale includes Evolution Shards. With this addition, Pass Royale should be the go-to purchase for players who want to unlock the latest card evolutions.

This season will give you 6 Evolution Shards for Mortar:

To unlock an evolution you need 6 Evolution Shards, so after reaching Tier 37 you can start launching goblins to the towers of your opponents.

If you are going to buy Diamond Pass Royale next season, remember that you can get 10% off by buying through the?official Supercell store?instead of in-game. Purchased season passes are added to your inventory, so wait until next season starts to activate it manually.

The Wild Shard is obviously the best value purchase, but you can only buy one each season. For Free To Play (F2P) players who want to unlock as many evolutions as possible, these shop items will be essential, but they won’t be enough to keep up with the new releases.
