Houseflies lay egg (How Houseflies Work ), but as Josef Mihalovi? has pointed out as a response to my now edited comment, this isn’t a regular house fly, and it seems to be a flesh fly as Josef said. You can tell first of all from the red eyes. Apparently, they give birth to larvae: Flesh Fly
Moral of the story: Completely crush any fly you kill so that its descendants don’t come back to haunt you (crush in tissue or other paper, for instance). Sounds like joke, but isn’t.

There is more kinds of flies. The fly on the picture is flesh fly. These species have living maggots inside. Other flies lay eggs.
