European:
All right, I have 5 weeks of paid vacation per year. Last year I went to Spain and China, this year I might go to Brazil and Morocco. And I will squeeze 10 days skiing in Alps in January.
American:
I got 2 weeks of unpaid holiday, fuck yeah, so cant wait to visit my friends in Maryland. Its gonna be long trip from Oregon for sure. But its worth it, every year for the past 5 years it has been a great trip.
European:
I feel a bit hot. I should probably have to go to see a doctor? (Goes and sees a doctor free of a charge in one of the best hospitals in the world)
American:
I feel like shit, but I cant go to see a doctor, I dont have an insurance.
I feel like shit, but I cant go to see a doctor because its my 3rd time this year, and next time I will have to pay 500$ just to speak with him.
(Goes to the doctor) - Okay, Mr. Smith its nothing serious, you have a headache. Just have a rest and drink lot of water and one Aspirin. The bill is 1000$. Have a nice day.
European:
Omg, have you heard - that guy from 3000km from here robed a store with a knife. Where is this world going to????
American:
-Hey mom, can you pass me the salt please… Oh, have you hears 50 kids were shot today in that school in Arizona/Miami/NY/Alabama/Ilinois,Oregon…

they are run by a person who doesn’t listen to the people in the slightest
For Europeans, they are referring to Mr. Trump who appears to be representing 50% of the US population and calling the other 50% “idiotic” and “Anti-American”
For Americans, we often see this from the outside. We look at Spain and see how their leader denies Catalonia’s 90% approval of separation. We see France’s government deny the population the right to a free market on gas (despite the majority of people wanting this).
Their laws endanger lives and hurt their populations
In Europe, they look at America’s gun control laws and see a backwards society. To them, America’s loose gun laws is endangering the populations. Most European countries has stricter gun laws (or more educated populaces) and see our laws as hurting the American people.
For Americans, we look at crazy laws like GDPR and Article 13 (“Meme” Ban) as ways of hurting their population. It denies the basic right to a free market as, as Americans, we see this as hurting our populations.
→ Why do Europeans seem to think they are so much better than America?
The same reason Americans think they are better than Europeans.

Imagine you live in a place where, if you get sick, you go to the hospital. You never worry about whether you can afford it, because that’s just not a thing. Old people, kids, common working folks. They get sick, they just go to the hospital.
Now you learn that in the USA, it’s not like that. Healthcare is only for people who can afford it. Lose your job and get sick? You might just die. Have a lower-status job? No health insurance. Even with a decent job, deductibles might bankrupt you.
How do you suppose would you view the USA?
Imagine watching Breaking Bad from that perspective, btw. The basic premise, that a schoolteacher with cancer can’t get care, makes no sense whatsoever in the civilized world. In the civilized world, a teacher with cancer goes to hospital, gets care, gets on with their life. But we’re more concerned with money than with our own people’s lives. We look like fucking savages.
