transportation in Canada and China

2023-07-18 02:31 作者:小憨小小  | 我要投稿

There are significant differences between transportation in Canada and China.

Firstly, in China, the?main mode?of commute is public transportation, such as buses and metros, while in Canada, a majority of people rely on driving as their primary means of transportation. Only large cities in Canada have metro lines, whereas all provincial capital cities have well-developed subway systems.

Secondly, electric bicycles are highly popular in China due to their affordability and their ability to navigate through traffic jams. Conversely, electric bicycles are rarely seen on Canadian roads, where they are more commonly perceived as recreational toys rather than practical vehicles.

Furthermore, when traveling to another city, Canadians often choose to drive themselves or opt for air travel. On the other hand, a significant number of Chinese people prefer train travel to reach different cities. China's extensive railway network is the longest in the world, connecting nearly all major cities efficiently.

With the continuous economic development, an increasing number of Chinese citizens are opting for airplanes instead of trains for long-distance travel. Nevertheless, trains still remain a prevailing mode of transportation in China.
